Yes. We migrate the product catalog, customer records and order history, then map every old URL to its new one with redirects so existing rankings and backlinks carry over instead of resetting to zero on launch day.
Can you actually customize checkout, or just the theme around it?
Both. Theme development covers everything a visitor sees before checkout. For checkout itself, we build with Shopify's checkout extensibility (checkout UI extensions and Functions) on Shopify Plus — custom fields, shipping logic and post-purchase steps — rather than being limited to what the default checkout allows.
Do you set up payments and shipping, or just hand off a theme?
We configure Shopify Payments (or an alternative gateway if you need one), shipping rates and carrier integrations, and tax settings as part of the build — so the store is actually sellable at launch, not a template waiting on setup.
